Kristen Buckholt is a JD student at the University of Toronto, where she developed an interest in litigation after her experiences with trial advocacy and mooting. In her first year of law school, she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada to develop a resource guide for 2SLGBTQ+ youth about their legal rights in public schools. She served as co-director of the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada, wherein students from across North America compete on NHL salary dispute arbitration. She will serve as the co-president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society in her final year of school. 

Prior to law school, Kristen completed her B.A. in political science at George Washington University. She graduated magna cum laude in 2020.
