Natalia has a broad commercial and securities litigation practice with a focus on regulatory proceedings before the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada (MFDA) and the Joint Serious Offences Team (JSOT).
Natalia has experience working on a wide variety of matters, including professional negligence, employment, breaches of contract, shareholder disputes, investment loss claims, share valuation proceedings, civil fraud actions, class actions and fiduciary litigation. Natalia has appeared before the Provincial Offences Court, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
While at Osgoode Hall Law School, Natalia defended clients charged with summary offences under the Criminal Code of Canada in her role as a Criminal Division Leader at the Community and Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP). Natalia also successfully competed in a number of mooting competitions, including the Corporate and Securities Moot.
Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Natalia articled at a full service law firm.
